This week, I have been under the weather, and missed two whole days of Skein Queenery. Club packages will be sent out tomorrow and Friday and I’m still on track for the shop update for Tuesday next week. Photos of Ivy League vest progress and finished Cloud Nine socks to follow.

Monday Bounced around for the first five minutes as the realisation that I could be Skein Queen ALL the time sunk in, then got down to work. Wrapped orders, sent photos of yarn to people who’d ordered it, updated website and sent further samples to Let’s Knit magazine as they’re featuring a children’s garment made [...]

That’s it – yesterday I cleared out my desk, said goodbye to my colleagues and am no longer an Editor after 17 years in the job. The Reading office doesn’t officially move to Andover until the end of the month, but they were good enough to let me go a little bit earlier than that [...]

I finished spinning this plum and gold merino/silk bought from Jeni at Fyberspates at Rav Day and lovely it was to spin too. Another sample to add to my handspun Zig and Zag blanket which is coming along slowly.
